A swift discussion…
Soooo, I’m back. Sort of. I found myself, at the tail end of last year, in a position where everything I tried to write came out negative. Not surprising really, the world turned to crap again. Trump was re-elected, the UK government decided to effectively make trans people non-citizens (more, slightly more positive, in a second) and everything was feeling dismal and desolate. Again. It was like going back to 2016.

Pictured – I’ve been down. Does it show? But seriously, Goth is a look I have always wanted to try
So I stopped blogging. And ever since, when I fired up the site, I couldn’t find anything to say that was positive. And that’s insane; life is amazing, you’re only here once, and you need to enjoy it.
I found myself eating and drinking (real drinking, not that wishy washy water stuff) a lot more. Sitting at home after work, opening a bottle of red wine, and consuming all of it while stuffing my face with cheese and nuts (the real ones, disengage dirty mind). And I put on weight; back to the level I was pre-Covid, which of course made me feel worse.
About three months ago I stopped and started to think; I was letting the world dictate how I felt and that is a very bad move at the moment. The world is shockingly dark; but in some ways, and bear with me, that’s a good thing. It makes you understand that you have to disconnect from these things that are too dark, things you can’t influence, take a breath and focus on basically living life. So I metaphorically slapped myself a couple of times and started working on feeling better.

Pictured – surrounded by horny admirers at Wayout, do I look uncomfy? Maybe it’s because my arse is almost black from all the ‘friendly’ touches.
Cue exercise, quitting beer (still drink wine though because what is life without moments of impulse internet purchaes; plus, as you will see in some of the photos, those purchases have been exquisite), trying new stuff. And hence we are here, back again.
So, from now on there will only be two categories of blog post – I’m calling them fantasies (the gorgeous retro stuff, outings, sessions) and realities (non-negative chats on real-world stuff that impacts Sarah rather than drab me). That way I can steer away from getting sucked into the negative energy that is going on, and hopefully the world will right itself and get, well, more friendly and relaxed.
So what have I been up to?
Oooo, quite a lot of fun things to be honest. Once I got over the mope I ticked some more boxes off; did a full Goth session (which was gorgeous) with Patti at Wowgals, went out a couple of times enfemme, went to Sparkle, had a day sat in a lovely wine bar by myself in a gorgeous M&S day dress, dabbled in Lolita style and planned some big things for the last couple of months of the year. I’m going to go to LFF for the first time (Leeds First Friday), I have some dedicated era sessions planned with Patti (including a custom made wig to look like Kim Basinger in LA Confidential), doing 40’s, 60’s and 80’s, some Xmas sessions (with some hideous Xmas frocks, on purpose of course). I’m training for the Night Shine again, which has led to some fun with blisters (more in a bit), and I’m trying so hard to focus on enjoying myself. And I think I’m succeeding.

Pictured – damn, that’s hot. I mean, I really enjoyed playing the 40’s bombshell.
Literally just got back from an epic session at Cinder’s in London. Did some gorgeous 40’s looks, and had a play with a Lolita dress that was way more fun than it should have been. Also found a superb wine bar, Luna, on Shad Thames. I highly recommend it, just opened, lovely staff, unbelievably nice wine and great nibbles. I may have overdone it a little, but hey, you only live once.
And what next?
Firstly, I’m going to try and get blogging again; I want to share the fun and tips with you. I’m lucky enough to have a lifestyle that allows me to do this, plus my real-world job gives me the ability to do this safely. I know the gotchas, I know the shortcuts. So I’m going to go back to what this blog was meant to be at the start; sharing the fun and hopefully giving others who want to do it helpful tips as to how. And sod the world, it will get back to being vaguely pleasant sometime soon.

Pictured – bought myself an engagement ring as well to complement the wedding ring.
Some things to think about….
I’m not going to dwell on the Scottish court ruling (aside from to point out if you look at the pictures of the TERFs celebrating outside the court you won’t see a single one that isn’t going to be questioned when she goes to the loo; every one of them looked like a crossdresser that wasn’t trying), but I am going to point out a little vaguely humourous outcome around the language of the declaration. And why TERFs really shouldn’t be celebrating, at all, the ruling….
So, the exact wording was that the ‘legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex at birth’. Pretty definitive (and fascist but we’ll let that one slip for now). However, it goes on to say that this ruling does not impact the rights of transgender people.

Pictured – yeah, going into the male toilet at 22:30 on a Friday night dressed like this is completely safe.
So what does that actually mean? Get ready to laugh. So, those rights include a safe space to, well, urinate and defecate, to put it mildly. The TERFs have read this as ‘No trans in our toilets!’, but here’s the catch. That statement on not impacting rights means the government can mandate that places of business have to provide safe spaces for trans as well as women. So, if an establishment has two rooms dedicated for toilets, male and female, how do they do that? They do what airplanes do; make the room with lockable units unisex.
In English. The ruling allows the government to mandate unisex cubicles. The TERFs get their safe spaces, but they are now just the cubicle. Rather than spend money developing specific trans-friendly toilets, establishments will convert the ladies into a unisex one; literally just having to change the sign, and et voila. Well done TERFs, you have given the government carte blanche to remove female toilet rooms completely. Slow hand clap time, methinks.
Anyway, good to be back, and expect some fun posts.
Stay beautiful, stay sane and stay healthy, both mentally and physically.

Pictured – I’m thinking this for my LFF debut. Too much? π

I’m surprised this is the first time I’ve read this, it’s been on my mind for a while. Lol! Well done and

I’m glad you’re back. I love your little postings. They’re like fireflies, a bright light that you occasionally see flitting across the meadow. They always make me smile.
The US may currently be screwed up, but the UK needs to also get their act together. They’re obsessed with the trans 1% of the population that’s relatively benign, when they should be worried about the growing 6.5% minority that doesn’t like them and is potentially dangerous.
Besides you can always tell them “I’m not trans. I’m just a man who prefers to dress as a women.” What are they going to do?
Best regards from America, Randi

Darling Sarah,
It is so lovely to see you back blogging! I was worried about you, as I’m sure many ladies were.
Your new pictures are fabulous. The Wayout outfit and presentation is spectacularly pretty, although the look of a hunted gazelle watching for predators is evident. You make a fabulous bride. No doubt that picture, combined with so many pictures of you in the kitchen, will get a lot of men thinking!
As for your take on the Supreme Court ruling, well done. The TERFs have indeed been celebrating too early. It will easily unravel anyway since these judges ended up studying law because they were moderately bright but didn’t understand anything about how the universe works, like biology. The fact that separate toilets exist for the rather obvious purpose of MALE PRIVACY also seems to have escaped everyone’s notice. Unisex may indeed be the theme of the age.
Kindest regards
Janis

Good to see you back. I love the goth look, and the 40s blonde bombshell pic is amazing. Shame you didn’t have space for a pic of the Lolita dress, but you’ll be a knockout at LFF (especially if everyone turns up in twinsets and pearls)

You know Sarah, it is so, so good to have you back with a new blog post. π
A lot has happened in the world since your last post and unfortunately most of it hasn’t been good. βΉοΈ I know you’ve touched on it in your writing so I won’t dwell on it here. I’ll just say that the time from then until now hasn’t been great for either of us and everyone else like us. And I think that you being able to ‘get back in the heels ‘ as it were, shows a huge amount of resilience and determination.
I have to say that a Goth look from you has been a looong time coming! π And every time I see those images of you look gorgeously Goth, I have the Sisters of Mercy playing in my head! π I know you have ‘plans’ for the rest of the year but you should really do more like this. πβ€οΈXXX
And I love that you have been spreading your gorgeous, feminine, wings and letting Sarah have more adventures in the real world. Whether she’s getting a slapped botty or not! ππ XXX
Honestly though, I think it genuinely wonderful that you are exploring the world as your feminine self sweetie. π XXX
And I love that you are heading to LFF. I only wish that I were able to join you there. XX
And I absolutely LOVE the ideas you’ve having for the next few months. π I think you will look absolutely sensational as ‘Kim Basinger’! πβ€οΈ And I always look forward to your wonderful, festive and feminine creations! βΊοΈππ π XXXX
I will so be looking forward to the return of your blog posts Sarah; along with everyone else, I’m sure. πβ€οΈXXX
On the result of the Scottish ruling, it’s a very curious and VERY carefully worded statement that doesn’t really change anything. The TERFs and their fascist allies may be cheering now but it’s still open to a lot of interpretation. I am sure that there will be many more court cases both in Scotland and here over it. π
Please stay safe and well while training for the Nightwalk and good luck too! πππXXX
Take care my dear, beautiful friend. ππππβ€οΈ XXXXXXX
